Stoke City 0 - 0 Fulham

Fulham's long wait for an away win continues after they fought out a scrappy goalless draw with Stoke at the Britannia Stadium.

Both sides had their moments but lacked an obvious cutting edge in a Barclays Premier League contest which saw neither goalkeeper really tested.

Stoke missed the best chance late in the first half when Richard Cresswell scooped over from 10 yards.

For Tony Pulis' men it was another valuable point but Fulham have now failed to score in four consecutive away games and have still not won on their league travels this term.

It also proved a difficult afternoon for controversial referee Stuart Attwell, who in trying to allow the game to flow frustrated both teams and their fans.

The Potters were without their most recognisable attacking weapon - Rory Delap's long-range throw-ins - but Ibrahima Sonko proved an able touchline deputy for the Irishman.

Delap passed a fitness test to feature after having an injection on an arm injury but he soon realised he lacked his usual delivery strength.
