Prem trio hunt Inter ace

Premier League trio Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Everton are reportedly eyeing a January move for Inter Milan striker David Suazo.

The 29-year-old Honduras international is currently out of the first-team picture under Jose Mourinho and is on loan at Portuguese giants Benfica.

The former Cagliari striker is impressing with Benfica as his double on Sunday helped move them to the top of the Portuguese Liga table.

He is also wanted in Italy with the likes of Roma, Torino and Atalanta all credited with an interest in the experienced hit-man.

Suazo's father and agent Don Nico acknowledges it will be hard for Benfica to retain his son's services, should any of the Premier League sides come knocking in the New Year.

"David is only interested in Benfica at the moment," he told Dario de Noticas. "It would be difficult for him to return to Inter after being treated so well in Portugal.

"However, it will be a difficult fight for Benfica against the English and Italian teams, but David is a professional and it will be his decision."
