Kone warns Scolari's Blues

CFR Cluj striker Yssouf Kone has warned Chelsea that his side have their sights set on a major upset at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

The Blues must overcome their Romanian opponents to guarantee their place in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.

Kone contributed to the downfall of former Blues boss Jose Mourinho last season as he netted in Rosenborg's 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

The stalemate was Mourinho's final game in charge, and reports are suggesting current manager Luiz Felipe Scolari must secure qualification if he is to relieve the pressure surrounding his position.

Burkina Faso international Kone, who signed for Cluj from Rosenborg in the summer, said: "I heard that Scolari would go back to Brazil if they didn't beat us," said Kone.

"But if Chelsea don't beat us tomorrow, he will really be in trouble. We will try our best tomorrow because it is really important for us to go back home with a result.

"Right now Chelsea are under the pressure, the biggest pressure in the group. Chelsea will have to work hard to beat us but it won't be easy for them.

"We will be playing without any pressure. They have big players but we are not bad either. It will be worth more than just three points to us if we win."

Defeat at the hands of the Romanians and a win for Bordeaux in Rome would send Chelsea packing at the group stage for the first time in their history.
