Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is adamant he will not pay 'crazy prices' in the January transfer window.
Redknapp, who took over at White Hart Lane in October, is keen to bolster his squad in the New Year.
The former Portsmouth boss has been linked with a number of high-profile players, with West Ham United striker Craig Bellamy the latest to be mooted as a potential target.
Redknapp said in The Independent: "I've got one or two players but I can't say we are near to getting anybody.
"I've discussed it with the chairman but one or two players that we mentioned, people were talking crazy prices for.
"If we can't get the players I think will improve the squad, then I won't bring in anybody. I'm not going to load us up with players that aren't better than we've got."
