Chelsea's fine away form continued after a convincing 2-0 win against Bolton at the Reebok on Saturday.
First half goals from Nicholas Anelka and Deco proved the difference as Chelsea recorded their 11th straight away victory breaking a Premier League record.
The game could have taken on a wholly different complexion had Kevin Davies buried his free-header after eight minutes, but for all their industry Bolton couldn't find a way through a resolute Chelsea rear-guard.
Chelsea's eighth away win of the current campaign ensures their 100% record on the road remains intact, while Bolton remain in the top half despite slipping to 10th.
