Everton boss David Moyes has been fined £5,000 by the Football Association over a charge of improper conduct.
The charge relates to Moyes' reaction to a decision made by referee Alan Wiley during the Toffees' Premier League match against Stoke on 14th September.
Moyes was sent to the stands during the match at the Britannia Stadium, which Everton won 3-2.
The Scot was angered by Wiley's decision not to award a penalty for what he felt was a handball by Stoke defender Leon Cort.
Moyes admitted the charge and requested a personal hearing which was heard on Tuesday.
The Toffees chief accepted the fine, but still feels hard done by over the charge.
"Yeah it [the hearing] was fine," Moyes told Sky Sports News. "I did not think I should have been charged in the first place but I spoke with them over a fine and that's it.
"Life goes on and I get on with my job."
Moyes also hopes the much maligned respect campaign will improve between managers, players and referees.
"Well it is something which I think players and managers and referees are trying to make it work. Let's hope it continues," added Moyes.
An FA statement read: "At a regulatory commission hearing today, Everton manager David Moyes was fined £5,000 and warned as to his future conduct.
"Moyes admitted a charge of improper conduct relating to his touchline behaviour during Everton's match against Stoke City on 14 September.
"In reaching its decision, the commission said that it was taking into account Moyes' good disciplinary record, his admission of the charge and his apology."
