Modric happy with Harry

Luka Modric, who has been ruled out for two weeks, admits he is loving life under Harry Redknapp at Tottenham.

The Croatian midfielder is one of a number of Spurs stars who seem to have benefited hugely from Redknapp's arrival at White Hart Lane following Juane Ramos' departure.

Modric hurt his groin in the defeat to Fulham last week, but was allowed to return to Croatia this week by Redknapp.

"We are all delighted with the results since the arrival of our new coach Harry Redknapp, he is a great coach and certainly our revival is down to Harry," he told Vecernji Vjesnik.

"In comparison to Juande Ramos, he talks to the players and can motivate us.

"Then we have gone on and got results which have filled us with confidence.

"The points difference is small amongst the clubs at the bottom end so another series of results like we have just had and we can finally move away from the dangerous zone.

"On my injury, it does not worry me too much - I knew I had done something after 15 minutes."

Spurs' medical staff have confirmed a partial tear for Modric, which will mean he will not play again until December.
