Sylvain Distin admits he has no idea where his future now lies because of the uncertainty surrounding Portsmouth's future.
The French defender has seen Harry Redknapp - the man who lured him to Fratton Park - depart for Tottenham, and whilst Tony Adams has been appointed his successor the speculation regarding the club's future continues.
It seems owner Alexandre Gaydamak is looking to sell, with a South African consortium in talks to take control on the South Coast.
And Distin admits the situation is not great.
"I am not going to lie. I try to be politically correct but when I came here the club had a plan and right now I do not know what the plan is," he said in the Daily Mail.
"Every day you think, 'What is going to happen today and who is going to come and who is going to go?'
"I think it will be the same when the transfer window opens. I am a bit worried about it. I said when I came here I did not want to stay just for a couple of years and that I wanted to stay for the long term.
"In January I will see who is going and see who comes in. That will give us a better idea of the situation.
"I read every day the club has financial problems. As a player you cannot do anything about whether the owner is going to keep the club or whether he will sell or about which players will be leaving. If we are high in the table maybe that will change his mind about selling."
