Jimmy Bullard has again reiterated his desire to stay at Fulham, amid talk he had fallen out with his manager Roy Hodgson.

It had been reported the England squad man had been less than pleased about Hodgson's comments with regards his form this season, which he felt had fallen below the levels of last term.

Bullard has been keen to talk about a new contract as his existing deal has just 18 months left to run, but only now have the club been forthcoming with regards an extension.

However, having returned to his best form over the past couple of weeks, Bullard is looking forward to a prolonged spell at Craven Cottage.

"I'd love to stay," Bullard said in the News of the World.

"I've got 18 months on my current deal but I'm in talks with the club and hope to get it sorted.

"I love the club and they have been brilliant for me. But I was injured for 16 months so I know how quickly things can go wrong."
