Manchester City manager Mark Hughes is delighted to hear that Robinho has targeted a 30-goal haul this season.
The Brazilian forward arrived at Eastlands from Real Madrid on summer transfer deadline day in a British record deal.
Robinho has since impressed and netted a match-winning hat-trick against Stoke at the weekend to take his collection of goals since moving to England to six.
After the outing against the Potters, Robinho announced that he hoped to find the back of the net on another 24 occasions, and while Hughes recognises that will be a tough task, he is delighted to hear the 24-year-old has lofty ambitions.
"Expectations are high and that is what we want to hear from the players," Hughes told Sky Sports News. "Positive thinking is always a good thing.
"They are excited by what is happening and they have a feeling that it is possible to reach the targets they are setting themselves, and to reach the targets we are setting for them.
"He (Robinho) has super capability and is an outstanding talent as everyone has seen in the short time he has been here.
"We will make sure that we get into positions on the football field to let him add to his tally.
"Whether or not he gets to 30 goals, who knows? It is a big ask."
