Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez has warned opponents that there is more to come from striker Fernando Torres.
The 24-year-old netted twice in Liverpool's Merseyside derby victory over Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday to bring to an end a run of six games in all competitions without a goal.
Benitez had been robbed of the services of Spain international Torres earlier in September because of a hamstring strain, but he now expects to see his No.9 benefit from a boost of confidence.
However, Benitez also insists that Torres - who returned to pre-season training later than the majority of his Anfield team-mates after winning Euro 2008 - is not yet at 100 per cent and he anticipates further improvements.
"Clearly, Fernando is a player who can change games and it is positive that he has confidence now," Benitez said.
"He's a threat for defenders and the only thing he is missing at the moment is his physical condition.
"When he came back from the European Championship it was important for him to rest and then train properly.
"Fernando knows he can still improve a lot and the main thing for me is that his mentality is really good.
"He had an injury and he still has to improve physically. He is working so hard and he will get better - he will have more pace and be stronger.
"He scored 33 last season but I haven't set him a target this season. If he scores 32 I will be pleased!"
